Follow official updates from government agencies and be ready to evacuate to a safe area
Drop to the ground and take cover under a strong structure to protect yourself from falling objects (if inside a building)
Turn off the gas immediately if you were cooking or using it
Do not use elevators—use emergency stairs to evacuate (especially for vulnerable groups and people with health risks—evacuate urgently)
Stay away from windows and glass doors to avoid injury
If you're outside, move to an open area away from buildings, billboards, and power poles
Prepare emergency supplies, such as basic medicine, personal prescription drugs, a flashlight, a fully charged phone, drinking water, etc.
